Crayon art competition – great prizes for talented young artists

September marks Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Crayon has launched an exciting art competition in which it invites High Schools within its immediate catchment area to participate. The aim of the competition is to bring awareness to childhood cancer, as well as to introduce Crayon to the its communities and highlight the work that the unit is doing.

Theme of the competition:

Dreams and Wishes: Artists to illustrate the dreams, hopes, and wishes of children affected by cancer, showcasing their aspirations and desires for a brighter future.

Prizes:

  • 1st Prize = R5000 Takealot voucher
  • 2nd Prize = R2500 Takealot voucher
  • 3rd Prize – R1750 Takealot voucher
  • 9 runners-up to receive a R300 Tygervalley Shopping Centre voucher

The artworks of the top 12 finalists will be turned into a branded 2024 printed calendar.
